A Tokyo Girl At Heart: 2014 Baby Registry Picks

Hello friends! Is it just me or is everyone having a baby? Whether it's your sister-in-law, your co-worker or Princess Kate, the world seems to have baby fever. And with all those new little bundles coming, parties are being held to celebrate the joyous occasion. And where there are babies, there are gifts. So if you're still looking for some ideas of what these parents will need, then this list is for you.  And just recently having a baby of my own, I've got the inside scoop on what's new, hot and a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Here are some of my favorite baby registry pick for 2014.

1. Aden + Anais Swaddle Blankets
I absolutely LOVE this brand of swaddle blankets. Actually, I love this brand as a whole, but if I could pick just one product it would be this. Not only are they huge, but they become softer with every wash. Who doesn't love that. And if your child is not a fan of the swaddle, they can be used as a cover up, weather shields, blankets and nursing wraps.

2. 4moms Rockaroo
Now this is a cool pick. This sleek and stylish swing is streamlined, yet roomy for baby. It plays music from your own MP3 player and has original music of its own. The cool fabric print options will satisfy any parents' sense of style. And the 5 way motion will relax any baby. A must have.

3. Vulli Sophie the Giraffe Teether
Look who made the list again. Good old Sophie. I can't say enough about this product. Not only is it eco-friendly, but its so accessible to your baby 5 senses without being over stimulating. This is a classic registry must have.

4. Graco Snugride Elite Seat Carrier
Now I have to give credit to my girlfriend Rebecca for recommending this a few years ago. This is the latest version of the lightweight, compact travel stroller. Snap your infant car seat on and you're ready to go. This screams "on the go" must have.

5. Burt's Bees Baby Sweet Memories Gift Set
Another eco-friendly, all natural option. This time for bath and diapering. I'm a big fan of Burt's Bee lip products, so when I saw this for baby, I jumped on it. Affordable and sweet to the senses, this pick is a win-win.

6. Boon Lawn Countertop Drying Rack
I remember the first time I saw this product and thought to myself, "What the hell is that?" But I will say, it serves its purpose. This space saving drying rack is modern and practical. Plus, its a conversation starter too.

7. Angelcare Bath Support
This is a really nice pick for infants. This easy to store bath accessory makes bathing comfortable for your little one. And the three color option and easy clean up is great.

8. Rock-a-bye Baby Lullaby Series
I adore these CDs. I've had them ever since Masaya was born and have purchased new editions over the years. These lullaby renditions of your favorite bands sooth not only baby, but any listener.

9. Baby Lit Board Book Series
These board books are adorable. They take classic literary pieces, such as Romeo and Juliet or Dracula, and create basic learning fundamentals for little ones. They focus on colors, counting and other skills. Plus they are too cute.

10. Diapers, diapers, diapers!!!!
What registry would be complete without diapers. Although the other nine picks are great to have, diapers are a MUST! Whether you're using cloth or disposable, please make sure you put them and wipes on your list.

Well my friends, I could go on and on, but I think I've left you with enough. Did your favorites make the list this year and is there a must have that you would totally recommend? Leave me a note in the comment section. I still have quite a bit left on my own registry, so check it out for more ideas or if there are any generous readers out there, feel free to purchase away, I would greatly appreciate it :)

Be Blessed and happy shopping!
